We are currently investigating intermittent latency when attempting to access our Fastly App at manage.fastly.com and elevated errors observed for api.faslty.com services.
This issue has been identified and a fix is being implemented.
Earlier latency and elevated errors reported have subsided, a fix is being implemented and we are monitoring the results.
Fastly App and API services have full recovered, our last recorded error was at ~17:30 UTC and we have not observed a recurrence.
This incident is resolved.
We will be performing planned maintenance on our Control Plane services on Monday, the 30th of October 2023, to begin at 16:00 UTC.
Our estimated duration is (~ 120 minutes)
This maintenance is internal and does not include any notable changes for our customers. Fastly engineers will have performed numerous tests on this planned maintenance prior to the event, and do not anticipate any impact to our customer configuration management or API services.
In the event of unplanned performance impact, we will initiate our acute incident response practices and escalate our status post to include incident level updates to ensure prompt customer notifications.

Our engineers have identified an error within our Control Plane for customers with multiple accounts. Customers attempting to switch accounts within the user interface may encounter an error preventing them from accessing their other accounts.
Our network availability, scheduled API services, and all other locations and services are unaffected by this incident.
The cause of the issue has been identified and a fix is being implemented.
Our engineers have deployed a fix to restore our Control Plane functionality. We have confirmed a gradual recovery for impacted services and will continue to monitor until all customers have been fully restored.

We are investigating elevated errors in Configuration Deployment services. Customers with newly provisioned services and some configuration updates may not deploy to the CDN.

Customers will not have to take any action, their deployed configuration updates and newly provisioned services will become available as our fix reaches the impacted hosts.

We are currently investigating into elevated errors when attempting to access our Control Plane (manage.fastly.com) Configuration Management and API services.
We have observed a reduction in errors since the start of this incident, but are continuing to investigate the cause of the errors observed in order to identify a solution that would prevent a repeat of this incident for our partner and customer services.
